Soil Moisture Level
I use a softer porous soil to grow marijuana. This allows for a wet/dry cycle every 5 to 7 days. Marijuana roots need moisture and nutrients, however pot roots also need oxygen. This is why it’s important to let soil dry out on a regular basis, dry soil is able to better absorb oxygen. If soil is too moist for too long it will prevent oxygen from reaching the roots. I let soil dry out completely before watering again. The fan leaves may wilt, but that’s fine, once the marijuana is watered they will recover.
