- Seeds need high humidity (above 80%) and temperature (over 80 Fahrenheit) to germinate
- Using feminized seeds

- Transplanted 9 seedlings into 15 oz (443 ml) cups
- Soil used was porous, non moisture retentive
- Nutrients were 5-15-5 (used 15 ml per 2 liters of water, half of recommended amount for perennials)
- IBA rooting hormone powder was added (used 2.5 ml per 2 liters of water)
- 3% H2O2 (Peroxide) was also added to water (used 15 ml per 2 liters of water)
